Introducing our protein-focused, anti-inflammatory diet challenge that encourages daily movement for optimal well-being. It's a holistic approach to nourishing your body and embracing an active lifestyle.
💪 Why protein?
Of the three macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat), protein takes the crown for satiety. The more protein you consume, the fewer cravings and hunger pangs you'll experience. Not only that, but the breakdown and utilization of protein in the body require 20-30% of its calories, giving your metabolism an extra boost. It's a win-win situation!
🔥 Sculpting with Protein
Picture this: achieving an hourglass shape for women and a V-taper shape for men without traditional weight training! While exercise is important, a protein-centric diet can help shape your physique, especially if you have limited mobility or spend long hours at a desk. It's a fantastic bonus!

As we age, our bodies become less efficient at utilizing protein. Just like insulin resistance, we can experience anabolic resistance. 🙌 Kidney Concerns Addressed
If you have an active kidney condition or disease, we advise against participating in this challenge. However, for those without kidney issues, increasing protein intake should not pose a problem. Rest assured, this is not a carnivore or high-protein diet where protein dominates 60-90% of your food.
🌱 Vegetarian-Friendly Option
Vegetarians can absolutely join the challenge! We will provide recommendations for high-quality protein supplements and suggest finding a protein powder that meets your goals without unnecessary carbohydrates.
💫 Program Details
Our program spans 4 weeks, starting Thursday, January 22nd, with weekly group meetings via Zoom every Thursday at 12pm (calls will be recorded if you can’t attend live). You'll receive a customized meal plan, food lists, and a calorie and macro target based on your specific goals (weight loss, body recomposition, or muscle gain). We'll also track steps using a dedicated app, and the participant with the most steps will be awarded a special prize!

A little about me:
Who am I?
Hi! My name is Jane Burnette. I am a proud mom to three healthy boys, a lover of the great outdoors, a forever student, health nut, exercise enthusiast and native of the Triad. I am also a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
What do I do?
I am a holistic health coach with multiple certifications in all things related to health, nutrition and exercise. In 2015, I received my first certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I haven't stopped taking classes since then and hope I never will! The areas I'm most passionate about are my trainings in Ayurveda, Polyvagal Theory, Female Hormone Optimization and Weight Loss, and most recently the Journey of Intrinsic Health. All of these have one thing in common; the body has the ability to heal itself if we allow it to do so.
