About your Health Coaches

Jane Burnette
A little about me:
Who am I?
Hi! My name is Jane Burnette. I am a proud mom to three healthy boys, a lover of the great outdoors, a forever student, health nut, exercise enthusiast and native of the Triad. I am also a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
What do I do?
I am a holistic health coach with multiple certifications in all things related to health, nutrition and exercise. In 2015, I received my first certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I haven't stopped taking classes since then and hope I never will! The areas I'm most passionate about are my trainings in Ayurveda, Polyvagal Theory, Female Hormone Optimization and Weight Loss, and most recently the Journey of Intrinsic Health. All of these have one thing in common; the body has the ability to heal itself if we allow it to do so.
Emily Saunders
A little about me:
Who am I?
Hi! My name is Emily Saunders. I'm a Christ follower, wife to Dr. Wiggy and the mom of four boys aged 12, 10, almost 9, and 6 plus a sweet one year old baby girl! I love to move my body (gently in my old age), coffee, read, listen to podcasts, unsweet tea, walks, and spending time with my husband and wild brood! I graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in business.
What do I do?
I've been working in the health and wellness space since roughly 2005 focusing on everything from training women for fitness competitions to "real life" workouts for moms to teaching women how to live moderately. I hold a variety of fitness certifications and am a Moderation 365 coach. My favorite thing to do is help women move from the mode of survival to thriving- and that looks different in every season. I also love encouraging moms and helping them understand that their parenting, healthcare, and food decisions for their family are their own. My children are enrolled in a hybrid model school, so two days per week we "homeschool". In this busy season, I'm so excited to help lead Food. Family. Simplified with Jane!
