Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away! For many people, especially those with food sensitivities and avoidances, this can be a stressful time! I have compiled a list of online recipes that you can browse to create a tasty, healthy Thanksgiving meal without missing out on your favorite dishes! Get creative and modify to fit your needs! Swap out dairy-filled recipes with dairy-free options (think almond milk, cashew milk, hemp milk, coconut milk or coconut cream, flax milk), and ghee in place of butter! Many of these can be used in recipes with no major changes in taste or texture. If a recipe calls for nuts that you cannot have, consider swapping them for another that you can have! Herbs and spices can take the flavor of a dish to a whole new level!
Swap our sweeteners, such as maple syrup and brown sugar with Swerve, Stevia or Honey substitute. If you are able to or desire to indulge just a bit, a little maple syrup in place of brown sugar can be a good alternative, as maple syrup contains beneficial vitamins and minerals.
